- jayMail, The Java Mail Client -

What's it all about?

Welcome to the home of the jayMail project. jayMail is a mail client written in Java, so it will run on any operating-system supporting Java.

The project was first started in Febuary 2001 so as to learn something about programming in Java. Since June 2001 the project is hosted at SourceForge.net.

jayMail is free software and is available under the GNU General Public License.

Who is writing all this?

The program is being designed and written by myself, Maximilian Schwerin. I'm a student of Computer Engineering at the Technical University Berlin, Germany.

I am currently not continuing the development of jayMail and I am not sure if I will do so in the future. If anyone is interested in continuing the development, please send me a mail.

If you are looking for a working Java mail client goto Columba!
